The Master Plan for the full renovation of this existing 5-acre neighborhood park was prepared by JBI Partners, guiding the transformation of the site with all new amenities. The redesigned park includes a shelter, age specific playgrounds for children ages 2 to 5 and 5 to 12, backstops, and new trail and sidewalk connections linking the Bluebonnet Trail to the south and an adjacent elementary school to the north, along with new tree plantings, turf grass, and a modern irrigation system. The playground was carefully designed to preserve existing canopy trees while promoting inclusive play for all abilities, with accessible layouts, shaded areas, and thoughtfully selected equipment that supports a wide range of skill levels, including play elements designed for children on the autistic spectrum.
