Coffee Park
JBI Partners teamed with GGO Architects to renovate this historic 8 acre park, creating a cohesive and accessible destination that celebrates both recreation and community history. The redesigned park features a concrete perimeter trail connecting all activity areas, informal landscaped seating, a reoriented t ball field, a meditation garden, sculpture garden, a 6,000 square foot accessible playground, and a custom architectural shade structure. Interpretive stone monuments with photographs and text are placed along the trail to tell the story of the City of University Park, while extensive landscape improvements preserve mature oak trees and enhance the park setting. JBI provided the overall park master plan and site construction documents, coordinating closely with the architect, City approvals, and the design of decorative sound barrier walls and ornamental fencing to deliver the project seamlessly.
