At more than 175 acres, Russell Creek Park is Plano’s largest and most heavily used athletic complex, continually evolving to meet the needs of a growing community. JBI Partners was selected as lead consultant to design new amenities and renovate key portions of the park, including a 2,200 square foot tournament restroom building with shaded gathering space, a new 180 space parking lot, and upgrades to multiple soccer fields. Additional improvements included field regrading and drainage, site lighting, an upgraded irrigation system with a new pump building, covered bleachers, and new cricket pitches. Serving as prime consultant, JBI coordinated a multidisciplinary design team, prepared detailed site and construction documents, guided City approvals, and delivered code compliant improvements that enhance performance, capacity, and user experience at this flagship park.
