Ruben is a dedicated Landscape Architect with 20 years of experience spanning both the public and private sectors. Since graduating from Texas Tech University in 2005, he has been an integral part of JBI Partners, contributing to a diverse portfolio of projects, including residential developments, civic spaces, and urban design. Ruben became a licensed Landscape Architect in the State of Texas in 2013. His work encompasses a range of projects, from single-family and mixed-use residential developments to neighborhood parks and public spaces across the North Central Texas region.

Known for his problem-solving skills and dedication to the design process, Ruben brings expertise across all stages of a project, from site analysis and concept development to the creation of construction documents and comprehensive project management. He thrives in collaborative environments, adopting a client-centered approach that ensures each project is thoughtfully tailored to meet both functional and aesthetic goals, all while enhancing the built environment.

Ruben is passionate about fostering strong, lasting relationship with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. His ability to navigate complex projects with precision and attention to details has earned him a reputation for delivering innovative and effective design solutions.

Outside of his professional work, Ruben enjoys spending quality time with his family. He and his wife, Melinda, have been married for over 20 years and are actively involved in the lives of their three sons, cherishing the moments as they grow into young adults.
